Jana has won a string of female bodybuilding championship titles around the world including the recently concluded European Female Bodybuilding championship 2009.
She created a history of sorts by winning the World Amateur Championship in Middleweight category, 3 times in a row in 2003, 2004 and 2005.
Later, she switched to Lightweight category in the same championship and was crowned champion twice in a row in 2007 and 2008.
